Eureka Enviro Steamer
Keeping our kitchen floors as clean as possible is imperative to our health. This is especially true if you have smaller children who like to crawl around all the time. The Eureka Enviro Steamer can make it all happen, but with a different approach than the ones we would normally take.
Think of the Eureka Enviro Steamer as a deep cleaning solution for any floor surface where it can be used. Over the years we realized a bucket of water with Pine Sol in it was only making matters worse. After all, once your water got dirty it would leave that film on your floor (unless you constantly changed it).
In recent memory we've been turned onto the Swifter Sweeper products that offer a spray. This definitely alleviated the "dirty water" issue, but the problem revolved around getting in the cracks. Everything looked great on the surface, but after a couple days it didn't look like you ever cleaned it.
We've taken all these approaches ourselves, but eventually utilized the Eureka Enviro Steamer. When you use it for the first time it's like you're steam cleaning carpet. The same concept applies, except this is for tile, linoleum, hardwood, or any similar choices.
All you have to do is plug it into a wall like you would a vacuum cleaner and get to work. Well, you have to put the magic cloth on first and add water to the steamer. Once you turn it on, the vapor steam will go over each area and cleanse like no other product. In fact, here is a good analogy that will help anyone understand the benefits that come with a Eureka Enviro Steamer:
When you wash your whites in the washer, anyone that knows how to do laundry will use hot water. This is so you can get the best cleaning possible, keep your whites as "white" as you can, and even add a little bleach to intensify the cleaning process. Well, when you use a steamer like this one you really get the same benefits.
However, the Eureka Enviro Steamer only needs water to provide you with a great looking floor. The heat produced from the steam brings out an unbelievable shine that wouldn't normally be possible. Plus, the floor looks clean for a longer period of time. So, instead of making this a Saturday afternoon event, you only have to do it once every couple weeks (unless you're really messy).
Another thing to consider is the cost aspect. For instance; if you purchase the Swifter you're looking at spending money on disinfectant, as well as money on the throw-away pads. This can add up over the course of a year, and it does exceed the overall cost of a Eureka Enviro Steamer.
The magic cloth that is used can be washed after every use, which will be much more convenient. After all, you could even start thinking about the gas money that is spent heading to the grocery to get new pads and liquid. All of these benefits should be considered before going out and wasting your money on other products.
By the way, did we mention the benefits surrounding the "water only" approach? Well, we touched up on it earlier, but we can't stress enough how nice it is to eliminate chemicals in your home, even if it's only used to clean hard floor surfaces.
When you first use this steamer, it's important to remember the initial use. In the beginning, it seems as though the system flies through the water. However, after you use it a couple times it will cut down this minor problem.
We found out there are several people in our neighborhood using the Eureka Enviro Steamer. It's actually how we were turned onto the idea. Everyone claims it's the best system they have ever used for cleaning hard floor surfaces. Unfortunately you won't be able to experience this yourself until you try it.
